I passed the AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate Exam!

When I started out on this blog, my primary goal was to go after the SysOps Administrator exam. After seeing where I was at (about 1 year ago), I decided to take a step back and go after the Cloud Practitioner first then the Solution Architect Associate. Over the course of this past year I passed both of those tests which greatly prepared me for the SysOps test. I strongly recommend for anyone just getting started on AWS or cloud for that matter to take the path I did.

Fast forward to this past week, I hit my initial goal of passing the SysOps exam. I am extremely happy I put in the time and effort to go after this. My ultimate goal now is to move away from an on-premise only infrastructure position and go into Systems automation and Infrastructure as a Service role.

That being said, I do not plan on abandoning this blog (mAWSb is not going anywhere). I have some plans on expanding this blog greatly by adding new or more frequent content at least once a week. Specifically more how-to posts and other DevOps related articles. Stay tuned…
